Updated after a few months of regular use:One concerning drawback is the battery life of the remote control. After about 2 months of regular use, the battery runs out so fast. I have to charge it every day before use. Sometimes I can make it 2 days but not if I use it for 20 minutes a day at full intensity. For such a big ticket item I would hope the battery would last longer. I'm concerned that with regular use the battery life will continue to diminish until the product is unusable. As much as I appreciate the mask being cordless, I wish there was an option to use it while plugged in because the battery dies so quickly.I've used a lot of other red light therapy products before, including some of the cheaper masks. The quality of this red light therapy masks far exceeds anything else I've used. This mask is much brighter than any other red light therapy mask I've used, but in the past similar products gave me headaches and this causes me no adverse issues at all. The mask is well made and what I am most impressed with is the light covers my entire face. It's also FDA registered which gives me confidence in it's quality. It is not cheap, but it is the best of all the products in this category that I've tried. It's easy to use. I did watch the video a couple of times to make sure I had the straps on right, but after that it was smooth sailing. The remote is easy to operate and you can move around while wearing it. It has three settings, even the lowest is very bright, even with the eye pads in, but I usually use it on the highest setting and I keep my eyes closed. The instructions say that the red light is good for eyes, but I don't love the brightness. The mask is comfortable to wear. I like to lie down and relax with it on for 20 minutes a day. This is a top notch product.
